Privacy notice

This notice describes the School Ops development website at schoolops.eu. The product has not launched, and this website does not collect school records or offer connected school accounts.

Website visits

This is a static information website hosted on Cloudflare. There are no registration forms, contact forms, databases or user accounts.

When you visit, Cloudflare processes technical request information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as your IP address, the requested URL, request time, browser information and security signals. This is used for website delivery, reliability and abuse prevention. Where the GDPR applies, the intended legal basis is legitimate interests in operating a reliable and secure website under Article 6(1)(f).

Cookies, analytics and external content

We do not use analytics, advertising cookies, tracking pixels or browser storage. All styles and fonts are local or supplied by your device; no third-party fonts, embedded videos or social widgets are loaded.

Cloudflare may use strictly necessary security cookies if a security feature or challenge requires them. These are separate from advertising and audience tracking.

School Ops is the name used for this development project. You can contact the project at integrations@schoolops.eu. There is no website contact form.

If you email us, we use your email address, message and any information you choose to include to handle and reply to your enquiry. Where the GDPR applies, the intended legal basis is legitimate interests in responding to project and integration enquiries under Article 6(1)(f). We keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any ongoing relationship, subject to applicable retention requirements.

Cloudflare Email Routing forwards enquiries to an existing Gmail inbox used for the project. Cloudflare and Google process email information under their respective service and privacy terms, which may involve processing outside the European Economic Area. Do not send pupil records, health information, school account credentials or other sensitive school information in an initial enquiry.

Hosting and retention

Cloudflare provides the hosting and network security service. We have not enabled application request logging or exports of visitor logs. Cloudflare may retain technical information under its service and security policies; we do not claim that its processing is limited to Europe or that no technical information is retained.

Cloudflare operates a global network. Its contractual data protection terms describe processing, international transfers and applicable safeguards. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy and customer data processing addendum.

Your rights

Where applicable, you may request access to, correction or deletion of personal data, restriction of processing, or data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You also have the right to complain to a competent data protection supervisory authority.

Before product pilots

Connecting school accounts or starting a pilot will require separate privacy information describing the actual service, responsible operator, access permissions, recipients and retention arrangements. The principles on the home page describe the intended product design.
